The Backlash France evening lasted longer than expected for CM Punk.
Indeed, CM Punk was on the panel in the WWE studios in the United States at headquarters to present and discuss the Backlash France card with Jackie Redmond and Big E. Once the show was over, CM Punk is found locked in WWE headquarters.
CM Punk recounts in his Instagram story that when he went to change in a bathroom, he found himself locked in the room by mistake. When he managed to escape the room, everyone had left and he found himself alone in the building and locked up. Some excerpts from his Instagram story:
CM Punk says he is locked in because according to him he cannot pass through other sections of the building since they require a magnetic card to open the doors. He said he took advantage of the weight room to do a little training and he also went around the building to look at the paintings and statues.
At the time of writing this article, we can imagine that a WWE employee returned to headquarters to get CM Punk out of this situation, but the main person concerned has not confirmed the news.
Obviously it’s a complicated year between WWE Superstars and door locks. The Miz was found locked in a backstage room on RAW last February and almost missed the show.
