Do you think you’re dreaming? Well no ! The grand finale of Beijing Express 2024 will be broadcast this Saturday, May 4 and not on a Thursday as usual. In fact, fans have already been deprived of several weeks of broadcasting because of the Olympique de Marseille matches in the Europa League and the channel did not want to make them wait even longer.
The finalists reveal behind the scenes of the filming
After the departure of Ryad and Louison, the pair of strangers favorite of viewers, who saddened everyone, and the elimination of the little Swiss, Flavie and Jérémy, two teams will give everything to be crowned big winners: the Corsican colleagues , Patricia and Jessica, and the hairdresser and his client, Romain and Laura.
A few days ago, Patricia revealed a little filming secret, during a question/answer session organized with her Instagram subscribers. She revealed where the cameramen sleep when the candidates are staying with the locals: “The cameramen stay with us for dinner and bedtime, but then they sleep in a hotel. We meet them the next morning to do our interviews“.
What do candidates do on their day off?
This time, it was the other finalists, Romain and Laura, who released little-known information behind the scenes of the show in an interview given to the Instagram account @bam_agglo. As Stéphane Rotenberg had already explained to us in an interview, they said that if the candidates took the wrong direction during the race, the cameramen came to their aid: “It’s after thirty minutes and in fact, they warn us if we’re going in the wrong direction and we have to turn around, because we’ve strayed from the map“.

The two finalists also revealed that all the participants were entitled to one day off per week and talked about how they spent their days away from the cameras: “We take the opportunity to rest. We play cards with the other pairs. We do laundry too“.
