But the actor did not really appreciate this touch of humor, replying that this reaction was very “French”. “As soon as you stop drinking you become boring. So that’s good, I assure you. But this fleeting sequence went down very badly with viewers who widely protested on social networks, accusing it of trivializing alcohol consumption. It was also widely commented on on TV sets, pitting those who defended the joke against those who found the journalist’s comments shocking. According to journalist Clément Garin, the discontent would have reached the management of France Télévisions, who would have demanded an apology in the next issue of “What a time! », this Saturday, May 4.
In the meantime, Internet users are not letting up, even to the point of questioning Léa Salamé’s relationship with alcohol. On X, we notably see another of his interviews filmed, this time carried out on France Inter.
