Jennie Garth explained: “The producer was a friend of a friend, and I remember him coming to visit me in my living room, sitting down and presenting this as the opportunity of a lifetime.“And the actress added: “He asked me to do it, and I didn’t know how to say no at the time. But the whole team was very nice and I wish them the best.“For her part, Gabrielle Carteris, who did not participate in the reboot, declared: “I never wanted to do it. I was so shocked that they were doing the reboot. I was like, ‘They want it so bad that you’re just going to try to reinvent the show over and over again?’“And Brian Austin Green added: “No offense to anyone. For me, we’ve done ten years of this show and it’s like, ‘OK, it’s over.’“
