Conso – Due to a labeling error, cans of Coca-Cola and Fanta are being recalled by several stores throughout France

The Coca-Cola group has just recalled cans of Coca-Cola and Fanta due to a labeling error. The mandatory statement “contains a source of phenylalanine (an amino acid, editor’s note)” is not indicated, underlines Rappel Conso, the site for alerts on dangerous products.

The first recalled product is Coca-Cola without sugar or caffeine, sold in a six-pack of 33 cl cans. On the packaging, the barcode is 05449000304520 and the recommended consumption date is 02/28/2025. The affected batches range from numbers 236DK31100 to 236DK31349. These cans were sold from August 30, 2024 in Carrefour, Auchan, Cora and Système U stores throughout France.

Refund possible

Sugar-free orange Fanta has also been removed from shelves. This is a limited Halloween edition, marketed since August 14, 2024. This pack of six cans bears the barcode 5449000235367 and the recommended consumption date has been set at 02/28/2025. Several batches are recalled: 237DK31500 to 237DK32013 and 219DK30000 to 219DK30649. This product was sold throughout France by Carrefour, Auchan, Cora, Système U, Leclerc, Match, ITM and Proxi-Maximo.
