Romain Terrain, the Tarbes forward coach, reacted to the announcement of his departure for Valence-Roman at the end of the season.
What motivated your choice to join Valence-Roman?
It was a difficult choice and I thought about it a lot because Tarbes was the team that allowed me to train at a professional level and which opened my eyes to the fact that I wanted to make this my job . With this choice I show everyone that I want to go to this path. Here I was in a comfort, I was at home but I made the choice to get out of my comfort zone, to challenge myself. It is also an opportunity to train on a floor above if Valence is maintained in Pro D2. As as a player, I try to get the highest. As Lionel Terré, it is the logical continuation of things. Especially since there I will find Fabien Fortassin that I knew here in Tarbes.

What do you think of the timing of this announcement knowing that the championship is still long and that the Stado is fighting for maintenance?
I don't know if there is a good time to announce this. What was important to me was above all to announce it as soon as possible to Lionel Terré, my president, who is also a childhood friend. I also wanted to warn the players upstream. I was quite direct and in short on the subject because there are still a lot of work this season. Early finally I do not think because it allows the club to start on a new cycle and for the players to know the ins and outs. So I think it's good that everyone is aware of it now like it leaves everyone to be able to turn.
