This is the big news of the year: a new line from Rennes will serve Manchester, in the United Kingdom, from June. Operated by Easyjet, two flights per week are scheduled, on Wednesdays and Sundays. The line is intended to operate “all year round”, explains the director of Rennes airport, Yannick Bouiller.

2 Dublin, the return
After two satisfactory tests, the seasonal Rennes-Dublin line is making a comeback. The exact dates are not yet known but Rennes airport is announcing two flights per week in the summer with Emerald Airlines, which operates on behalf of Aer Lingus Regional.

3 Amsterdam and London reinforced
Rennes airport is committed to this: of course, few international destinations are served directly, but they remain accessible (with a stopover) thanks to flights to major international airports (Paris, Amsterdam and London). Flights which will be reinforced in 2025, in particular, to compensate for the cessation of service to Frankfurt by Lufthansa since the end of last year.
Easyjet has therefore planned to increase its frequencies to London, from two to five flights per week. KLM will also boost its offer for Amsterdam with KLM by operating with “bigger planes”, specifies Yannick Bouiller. Two flights per day are also announced in the summer, instead of one daily flight currently.

4 Uncertainties about Corsica
Last summer, a Rennes-Figari line operated by Air France made it possible to reach the Isle of Beauty with one flight per week on Saturdays. This does not appear in the flight plan for 2025. “Discussions are still ongoing with Air France,” indicates the Breton airport.

5 Toulouse: one company for another
From March 31, the Twinjet company will operate three daily return flights between Rennes and Toulouse, instead of one until now. Enough to compensate for the cessation of Easyjet service, in the wake of the closure of its Toulouse base on March 31. On the price side, the bill should be higher with Twinjet, this company targeting more business customers.

6 Montpellier, first full year
Volotea’s Montpellier-Rennes line was launched in November 2024 and since then, “it’s been going strong,” assures Yannick Bouiller. This is maintained for 2025, with two flights per week. The same goes for regular connections to Marseille (Volotea), Paris and Lyon (Air France), and for the seasonal connection to Marrakech (until the end of March, Transavia).
