Agence France Presse reaches an agreement with Mistral for the use of its texts

This “multi-year” contract, the amount and duration of which have not been revealed, takes effect on Thursday. This is the first agreement of this type for Agence France Presse (AFP), as well as for Mistral AI, a European competitor to American giants like OpenAI (designer of the ChatGPT tool).
