EasyJet maintains vagueness on several flights, “this is not necessarily a good sign”

The British low-cost airline had nevertheless set down its suitcases in the Hautes-Pyrénées at the start of summer 2023. EasyJet was not to stop there, another line was also in the pipeline. This would therefore be a big blow for the airport.

Closure of the easyJet base in Toulouse

This possible disengagement echoes the official announcement of the closure of the easyJet base at Toulousefrom April 2025. In a press release, easyJet confirmed the maintenance of ten destinations, including Milan, from the Pink City.

At the end of the year, Ryanair – which represents almost half of the destinations from Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées airport – had also threatened to significantly reduce the size in France due to a possible tax on plane tickets. “The context is complicated,” comments the airport.
