Roma coach Claudio Ranieri today in a press conference was clear and clear regarding Matias Soulé’s future: he’s not moving. Despite a non-existent job for a month now (last match played last December 18th), the Argentine is considered a fundamental element for the future of the Giallorossi team and for this reason today the coach from Testaccio expressed himself like this: ” I believe in him a lot, I think he is a player of the future for Roma, he is improving in the aspect that I ask of him, to be more practical and touch the ball less. He will definitely stay with us because I believe in him a lot.”
Words that come after a confrontation between the Argentine and the coach. Soulè in fact spoke to Ranieri about his situation, asked him the reasons for the lack of employment and at the same time the reason for the veto on the transfer (several clubs have inquired in recent days, including Genoa and Fiorentina), but Ranieri reassured him and told him that he will return to field him in the next matches.
Paid 25.6 million euros plus bonuses last summer, Soulè has so far made 18 appearances in Serie A and cups, but has very rarely been deployed from the first minute. Overall, the Argentine played just over 800 minutes.
