The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N wants to become the queen of drifting

It is undoubtedly the most exciting electric car to drive, if not the only one capable of putting a smile on the face of thermal enthusiasts. The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has indeed won over the specialist press and in particular our tester. The one who ” simulates the pleasures of gasoline” intends to go even further.

In a teaser video before its presentation at the Tokyo Motor Show, Hyundai features a Ioniq 5 N DK Edition pour Drift King. For the moment, technical information is missing. However, we can easily see the generous roof spoiler and specific rims. Other elements like side skirts are certainly planned for this DK Edition.

A specific rear differential?

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N already has a strong horsepower of 650 hp, allowing it to reach 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The rear differential is also configurable, including a drift function. However, this special edition should go even further in this direction, notably with easier to maintain the fins.
