The 20-year-old student asked for help from all her undergraduate supervisors, to no avail. “They just told me I didn’t have the level”explains Eden, who had been dreading the master's selections for three years because of her poor grades in law. “My advisor often reassured me by telling me that my profile would guarantee me a place in the fourth year”specifies the student, who speaks four languages, has lived in three countries and is a member of five associations.

After multiple appeals to master's directors, hours of research on the Internet and hundreds of emails sent in all directions, she finally obtained a place in a master's program at the end of August. Contacted by The Worldthe University of Paris-I Panthéon-Sorbonne did not wish to respond.
