This operation allows it to directly cross several participation thresholds, in particular those of 5%, 10%, 20%, and indirectly that of 66.66% in the capital of the company.
This transaction was made with members of the Joumani family, a notable dynasty originating from southern Morocco. The distribution of shares acquired is as follows:
- 283,186 shares sold by Sidi El Mokhtar El Joumani,
- 70,000 shares sold by Sidi Salah El Joumani,
- 365 shares sold by Sidi Mohamed El Joumani.
Following this operation, Othman Benjelloun holds, directly: 353,551 shares, representing 28.84% of the capital of CTM, and indirectly: 625,072 shares, including 607,192 shares via RMA14 380 actions via Interfinaand 3,500 shares via O Capital Groupor 50.99% of the capital of said company.
In total, its cumulative participation (direct and indirect) in the capital of CTM reaches 79.82%, thus consolidating its control over the company.
According to the press release, Othman Benjelloun indicated that he intends to suspend his purchases of CTM shares over the next six months, in accordance with the obligations linked to crossing participation thresholds.
