New BMW X3 2025: a reinvented bestseller!

A true global bestseller at BMW since the launch of the 1st generation of the X3 in 2004; with more than 3.5 million units sold; including more than 4,500 vehicles in Morocco since 2013! This shows the importance of this 4th version of the X3 which was given a warm welcome by SMEIA.

Unique design

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, BMW started from scratch to bring out a brand new X3 (now known by the code: G45)… The newcomer retains its compact SUV appearance but gains in stature since its length now borders on 4.80 m.

In its transformation, the new BMW X3 has brought modernity to its silhouette!

The front of the X3 2025 becomes more massive for more aggressiveness! The BMW Iconic Glow grille, with its illuminated contours, gives a bold styling signature that attracts attention, especially when illuminated at night.

In profile, the vehicle is more dynamic and is distinguished by flush door handles. Overall, the lines are tighter and the silhouette exudes a certain modernity while remaining faithful to the characteristic features of BMW.

At the rear, we find very pretty T-shaped lights with a unique light signature, in addition to a very vertical tailgate. Note also that the design of the shields changes depending on the version: thermal, rechargeable hybrid or sports (M50)!

Reinvented interior

On board, we discover the world of recent BMW creations, except that there, we are treated to a touch of aesthetics and modernity very specific to the X3!

The interior is completely new! We find a double digital panel curved and oriented towards the driver. We also find a very clean environment with almost no physical buttons. The atmosphere is enhanced by omnipresent luminous plating on board and has the most beautiful visual effect, especially when it is dark!

This very elaborate ambient lighting is found around the large central storage bin, under the digital panel, but also on the doors which is distinguished by a multifunction module which allows you to manage the level of ventilation and the position of the seats Before !

Impeccable finish and well thought-out layout with plenty of storage space in the cabin

Reducing physical buttons as much as possible isn’t really complete; since BMW smartly keeps the iDrive; a matching rotary dial with buttons that serve as quick shortcuts to access main features such as phone, multimedia, navigation, driving modes etc…

For the rest, it is managed from the touch screen. The latter revolves around the brand new BMW OS9 multimedia system and which gives access to all the trendy apps of the moment, including wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto! Note that handling such a system, rich in features, necessarily requires a little time to adapt!

Super equipped as standard!

In terms of on-board technology, this new X3 is full of it! As standard, the Moroccan range of the X3 G45 is equipped with:

  • BMW xDrive all-wheel drive
  • 14.9-inch touchscreen
  • Wireless charging
  • Panoramic roof
  • The BMW Personal Assistant
  • Digital Cockpit with BMW Curved Display… and the list goes on!

Furthermore, the vehicle is also equipped with numerous safety systems (braking, anti-collision, LED headlights and adaptive chassis, etc.).

And the offer is completed (depending on the finishes) by the most advanced driving aids on the market such as Parking Assistant Plus, Driving Assistant Plus with adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, or head-up display again!

You don’t change a winning “engine”!

In our market, only one engine was selected for the launch. This is the 197-horsepower 2.0-liter Turbo Diesel unit with 48-volt MHEV mild hybridization. For the plug-in hybrid version, you will have to wait until mid-2025 to see it arrive in dealerships!

We took the wheel of this 4th opus between Marrakech and its region of Al Haouz; in the city and in the mountains, he demonstrated great agility and flawless handling. This is thanks, among other things, to the new chassis and the engine torque which makes the vehicle’s power available at all times.

It should also be noted that the 48-volt light hybridization contributes significantly to boosts, but also to reducing the consumption of the compact SUV (combined average announced = 5.8 l/100 km).

Moroccan range

Finally, note that for its debut in the Kingdom, the new BMW X3 is launched in 3 finishing levels: X-line, Pack and M Edition. Its order book is already open in Morocco. The first deliveries will be made next January with prices starting from 574,000 DH.
