The future hotel which will be very close to the Montreal Casino will carry the banner of a well-known company here: the Germain hotels.
This was announced by Loto-Québec in a press release on Friday.
“Loto-Québec is enthusiastic about building an emblematic high-end hotel for the metropolis, in the heart of the magnificent Jean-Drapeau Park. With the addition of a hotel, the Montreal Casino will be an even more complete and attractive entertainment destination,” underlines the president and CEO of the state-owned company, Jean-François Bergeron.
The Quebec company, for its part, is very happy with the land it will occupy.
“We couldn’t dream of a better location, next to the Montreal Casino and close to where some of the city’s biggest events take place, to offer an accommodation offer,” mentioned Germain’s senior officials. Hotels.
The first customers will therefore be welcomed within two to three years, according to the press release.
The state company, however, does not specify a date for a first shoveling of earth.
“Construction will begin once the plans are finalized and approved by the authorities,” it is specified.
Thus, this will be the third hotel for Loto-Québec, which already has one at the Casino du Lac-Leamy in Outaouais and at the Manoir Richelieu in the Capitale-Nationale.
