The Louis Vuitton store on Boulevard Saint-Germain (Paris, 6th arrondissement) was again the victim, on Monday, November 11, of a burglary committed using a ram car, franceinfo learned from a police source, confirming information from Parisian.
Around 4:30 a.m., an Audi rushed to break the window of the luxury boutique. Three individuals, whose faces were covered with hoods, came out and threatened the security guard present in the store. They then stole several items of leather goods before fleeing in their vehicle towards the A4 motorway, where they managed to escape the police. The burglars used a fire extinguisher to spray the police with foam, according to information from France Télévisions. The suspects were not arrested.
The prosecution confirmed to AFP the opening of an investigation into organized theft.
This Louis Vuitton store, a subsidiary of the LVMH group, had already been the subject of a vehicular attack on September 30.
