A Dualtron brand scooter is the subject of a recall throughout France, according to a sheet issued on the government website Rappel Conso Monday June 17, 2024. The electric machine, sold in many brands, presents a risk of injury for its user.

The product concerned is the “Dualtron Mini Special 52V 13Ah”. It was sold between September 22, 2023 and December 31, 2023 in Darty, Boulanger and Fnac stores. Conso recall lists dozens of serial numbers to check. This reference is engraved on the underside of the scooter and can also be found on the packaging.

A repair planned on scooters

“The machine is constructed in such a way that there is a risk of injury/fall when moving it”, explains the reminder sheet. The user is therefore exposed to a risk of injury but also of electric shock.

Several adjustments can be made to the machine: replacing the charger cable with a longer cable, deactivating cruise control, activating walking start and adding a second layer of insulation on certain the electric cables. If you own a Dualtron scooter, you have until August 17 to contact consumer service on 01 84 19 48 55 and receive a repair.
