Brothers Jérémy and Kevin Lashermes exhibited their Citroën Traction at the 24 Hours of Le Mans for a week.

It was during a competition organized by the American brand Hot Wheels that Jérémy and Kevin Lashermes, two brothers from Ambert (Puy-de-Dôme), have made themselves a little more known. For a week, they have been exhibiting their Citroën Traction revisited at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. These two Ambertois have a YouTube channel followed by 70,000 subscribers and they have become accustomed to creating buzz thanks to their work and their talent.

Two passionate and rewarded brothers

The Citroën made by Jérémy and Kevin seems straight out of Mad Max. Like renowned automobile programs, the two men have gotten into the habit of highlighting their passion for automobiles. They have customized and reworked many cars, each one more incredible than the next. They also sometimes film themselves performing breathtaking stunts.

During the 24 hours of Le Mans, their Citroën Traction” attracted crowds. With its rusty bodywork, it did not go unnoticed. Under the hood, we find an engine V12 from the manufacturer BMW, 5 liters (300 horsepower). The base comes from an old traction unit in very poor condition, found in a field. When he accelerates and hits a hole, the driver sees his bumper hit the ground making noise, but this doesn’t seem to really worry him. Inside, there is only one place, which prevents you from enjoying the adventure together in this unusual car.

The two brothers admit to being collectors of Hot Wheels miniatures since they were very young. They completed their Citroën Traction project in 2022 after a year a working one. All smiles, they confide: “It’s a real honor for us to participate in the Hot Wheels Legends Tour.” Here is their creation, in video :

The canvas adheres

Below the video, published on the YouTube channel of the two brothersLarstisterie, subscribers express their enthusiasm for the work of mechanics: “Mechanics in its purest form, without any hassle. Looking forward to seeing new projects.” Or “This is the most stylish crate I’ve ever seen. It rocks! Well done!” or “The traction/propulsion is pure Mad Max. I love the design and I admire the work done.” And you ? What do you think ? If you appreciate their work, they have released car key chains and posters. Real professionals!
