A unique meeting space to prepare for the future
Career Night 2024, organized by HES-SO Valais-Wallis in partnership with HR Valais, once again kept all its promises by attracting 300 participants, including students and professionals, to the spaces of the Energypolis campus in Sion. The event, now unmissable for students looking for professional prospects and for companies looking for new talent, was sold out this year, demonstrating the growing enthusiasm for this initiative. An appointment has already been made for the next edition, November 6, 2025.
Designed to allow students to immerse themselves in enriching discussions, Career Night is much more than a simple networking evening. Organized by the HES-SO Valais-Wallis in partnership with HR Valais, this event offers a friendly and interactive space where young talents can refine their skills, discover inspiring career paths and prepare for entry into the professional world. Companies and professionals, for their part, have the opportunity to share their experiences and support the next generation of specialists in a relaxed and stimulating environment.
A diversified program for students and professionals
This edition offered a rich and varied program, designed to meet the expectations of both students and professionals present. Practical workshops on artificial intelligence applied to CV writing, salary negotiation and networking allowed young people to develop concrete skills to successfully enter the job market. Companies were also able to participate in sessions on current themes in human resources, such as intrapreneurship, holacracy management and innovative practices for adapting to new working methods.
A platform for intergenerational exchanges
The “speed mentoring” was a highlight of this evening. It allowed students to ask their questions directly to professionals, creating a unique space for learning and sharing experiences.
Outlook and next meeting
With record attendance and a program appreciated by all participants, Career Night 2024 confirms its central role in supporting students at HES-SO Valais-Wallis and strengthening links with local and national companies. Building on this success, the Career Design Center at HES-SO Valais-Wallis is already preparing for the 2025 edition, with the ambition of creating new synergies and bringing ever more value to participating students and professionals.
