Its objective is to boost the efficiency of company sales teams in the field. It offers mobile technologies, helping them achieve their goals.

Sam Clarke (pictured) is a co-founder and CEO of Skynamo. Originally from South Africa, he puts technology at the service of his country’s sales teams, providing them with the information, analysis and freedoms necessary to achieve and exceed their companies’ objectives.

Founded in 2012, Skynamo offers a mobile sales application for manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors who employ field representatives. This app automates repetitive administrative tasks that slow down and bore sales reps, saving them time, strengthening customer relationships, and increasing sales.

Skynamo also provides business leaders and sales managers with greater control and transparency. Thanks to a real-time dashboard, they can monitor all sales activities in the field and analyze the results obtained.

The Skynamo app integrates with various ERP and accounting software, allowing salespeople to access up-to-date pricing, customer and inventory information, even while on the road. The company manages nearly 500,000 customer visits, 3 million customer relationships, 2 million products and has booked 130,000 orders worth more than $70 million for its customers.

In addition to his role at Skynamo, Sam Clarke is a committed philanthropist. He serves on the board of directors of the Anna Foundation, an organization that supports disadvantaged schools and communities by providing academic, social and environmental support, as well as life skills for children.

The entrepreneur graduated from Stellenbosch University where he obtained a master’s degree in computational electromagnetism in 2002. He also holds a master’s degree in entrepreneurship obtained in 2007 from the University of Cape Town.

Mr Clarke has accumulated extensive professional experience working for various South African technology companies. From 2008 to 2012, he was CEO of Magus, the first company he co-founded. Between 2015 and 2019, he was a non-executive director of Sazo Labs, specializing in the development of virtual and augmented reality software, and of Alchemy-A, a business accelerator in the fields of software and electronics.
