What performance for the Freebox Ultra?
The list of streaming platforms is dizzying, but what other services are included in the Freebox Ultra? The Freebox Ultra is the first internet box provided by an ISP compatible with Wi-Fi 7, the latest generation of wireless connectivity. Result, the Freebox Ultra can manage speeds up to 8 Gb/s. For its offer, Free has opted for symmetrical flow rates, that is to say that the theoretical maximum achievable is equal in download speed and upstream flow. We also appreciate the presence of numerous ports for connecting devices and peripherals :

Under the case, we find a Qualcomm Network Pro Quad-core processor, energy efficient, an essential point for this eco-responsible Box. Its consumption remains below 10W, like the Freebox Pop, and we can reduce it further:

To improve home Wi-Fi coverage, Free offers Wi-Fi 7 compatible repeaters. The first repeater is free, but you must explicitly request it to benefit from it, it is not included by default. Then, the other repeaters are billed at 20 euros per unit, up to three additional repeaters.
THE Pocket Wi-Fi is an option whose provision is billed at 10 euros. This is a portable 4G Wi-Fi router that allows you to connect to the Free mobile network to benefit from a temporary internet connection while waiting for the delivery of the Freebox Ultra. The user can consume up to 200 GB of data per month before connecting to fiber. Once you have received your Freebox equipment, you can keep it at no additional cost. The mobile data envelope then drops to 50 GB per month. So you can enjoy it everywhere when you travel!
Finally, you benefit fromunlimited calls to mobiles in France, Europe, the French Overseas Territories, the United States, China, Canada and Cambodia. Unlimited calls to landlines in more than 110 destinations are also included in the offer.
