Like every year, the big Télévie evening will be a new opportunity to give everything to raise funds for cancer research.
For more than 35 years, Télévie has embodied hope, solidarity and commitment in the fight against cancer. This year, it is in Liège that the closing evening of Télévie will take place on Saturday May 10, 2025. This highly anticipated return to the Cité ardente marks a symbolic step for Télévie, which returns for the first time to Liège in 25 years (the last edition of Télévie in Liège dates from 2000).
It is more precisely at Liège Expo, inaugurated this Wednesday October 2, which offers a surface area of more than 14,000 m², including five halls and a multipurpose room capable of accommodating up to 10,000 people, that the 37th Closing Evening of the Télévie which will be broadcast live on RTL tvi and RTL play.
“We are very happy to make our return to the Cité Ardente. The new infrastructures of Liège Expo are perfectly suited to an event of the scale of Télévie. We know how much fervor and generosity the people of Liège show when is about mobilizing and we are convinced that this edition will be a great success thanks to their support“explained Guillaume Collard, CEO of RTL Belgium.
Willy Demeyer, mayor of Liège, is also satisfied to be able to host this great ceremony of the heart. “I am particularly happy that Liège Expo can host a large and beautiful action where solidarity, generosity and science come together in favor of children but also adults suffering from cancer and leukemia. A united and generous city, Liège will give you an ardent welcome.” he said.
As a reminder, the 2024 edition alone raised 12,239,019.49 euros.
