Kimbal Musk, entrepreneur and brother of famous technology mogul Elon Musk, briefly met Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome on Friday, the Italian press reports.
Accompanied by Veronica Berti, the wife of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Kimbal Musk exchanged a handshake with Giorgia Meloni during a visit to Palazzo Chigi, the seat of the Italian government.
Discussion between Elon Musk and Italy
According to an Italian source, Kimbal Musk also had a meeting with the Minister of Culture, Alessandro Giuli, in the Prime Minister’s office. Discussions focused on a potential project to integrate modern technologies into Italian cultural sites.
The visit comes as the Italian government is in talks with SpaceX, the company founded by Elon Musk, for the deployment of a secure communications network in Italy. Giorgia Meloni also met on several occasions with Elon Musk, billionaire entrepreneur and close advisor to American President Donald Trump.
