This year, many famous names from the book industry, cultural ambassadors of reading and authors who won the 2024 National Book Prize such as the historian Nguyên Dinh Tu, the singer Jun Pham and the “millionaire” writer ” Quach Lê Anh Khang will participate in exchanges and signing autographs for readers of the festival.

Interactive and communication activities
The 2025 Tet Book Street Festival will allow people to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet from January 27 to February 2 on Lê Loi Street.
This year’s program includes more than 166 exchange, interaction, entertainment and experiential activities that will take place throughout the festival. This figure increased by more than 63.8% compared to 2024.
A series of exchange activities between the ambassadors of book culture and the winning authors of the 2024 National Book Prize will be composed of 12 parts (nearly 4 times more than last year).
Visitors will also be able to enjoy many interesting activities throughout the festival, such as a distribution of e-books and calligraphies at the start of the year, the opening of “surprise bags” giving access to free audio books and a workshop “Making Dông Hô paintings”.
One activity in particular has gradually become a tradition of the Tet Book Street Festival. It consists of offering lucky books to visitors on the first day of spring.
The design of the festival inspired by metro line 1
-According to information from the organizing committee, this year’s festival will provide access to nearly 68,000 copies of books to city residents.

The Book Street area will have a prime space to display works, New Year greeting poems, articles by President Ho Chi Minh and documents, images and works of former General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong .
Documents, images, books concerning the 95e anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the 80e anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or the 50e anniversary of Liberation Day to liberate the South and unify the country will be in the spotlight.
As well as useful books on the future of the world and economic development after the pandemic; the industrial revolution 4.0 and digital transformation; audiobooks, e-books and children’s books…
But also documents and images celebrating the 15the anniversary of the Tet Book Street Festival; a presentation of the “ten good books of 2024” selection, the books of the 2024 National Book Prize; spring newspapers; and various attractions to offer visitors joyful spring moments.
The Tet Book Street Festival covers a total area of 11,200 m², bringing together 22 participating units responsible for many unique cultural and artistic spaces.
The design of this year’s festival is inspired by the image of metro line 1 with three main zones: Heritage and culture; Move forward and develop; Knowledge and the future. The image of a technological snake that constitutes the metro was chosen as the mascot of the Tet Book Street Festival.
