With the participation of around fifty renowned authors and promising young writers, speaking and writing in all languages, from more than twenty countries and three continents, the 3rd edition of the African Book Festival of Marrakech (FLAM) will be held from January 30 to February 2, 2025.

The correspondent of the AZERTAC agency in Rabat reports, according to a press release from the organizers that this 3rd edition, which will be marked by the presence of Jean-Marie Gustave Le Clézio, Nobel Prize winner for literature, will offer a program around themes included in the editorial and scientific news from writers, thinkers and intellectuals from Africa, its diasporas and its descendants.

The same source indicates that this edition will devote a particular place to the consolidation of the unwavering links which unite Africans wherever they are, and will endeavor to highlight our common continent of the future in our human and cultural diversity.

The FLAM organizers have put together an exceptional program particularly highlighting the words of women in Africa and their multiple voices carried by world literature, through several round tables, which will be devoted to this theme.

According to the organizers, the first two editions of FLAM were a real success, both public and media, with the participation of around forty writers and intellectuals from 25 countries.

The 2024 edition attracted more than 10,000 festival-goers and was followed by more than 30,000 people live and streaming on social networks.
