This young woman from Maine-et-Loire is among the “new heroines” of a children’s book

Believe in your dreams, even the wildest ones. This is, in a way, the motto of Céline Steyer, creator of the Nouvelles héroines podcast, from which she created a 96-page book aimed at children (6-10 years old), released on September 18, by Larousse Jeunesse.

In this one, illustrated by Lavilletlesnuages, she brought together 20 stories of women today who have charted their path with determination. Some are very well known to the general public, such as the singers Angèle and Louane, the footballer Wendie Renard, the actress Leila Beihkti.

Others, few, such as Claire Pétreault, creator of the media Les Pépites vertes highlighting the professions of ecological transition through meetings with young people. Originally from Segré (Maine-et-), she will be alongside Céline Steyer, Saturday November 30, 2024, for a signing session at the Leclerc shopping center, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
