The town of Vauvert continues its cultural season with its brand new Festi’Livres highlighting the world of books, where creative workshops and story reading meet.
The town invites young and old from November 20 to 23, 2024 to discover various parts of the world of books.
What is manga art? How do you create an illustration album? What is old book binding?
Everything is done to help you discover the professions and art linked to books!
On the program, workshops on the illustration of album books, on the binding of old books and on manga art but also stories for children and a story evening for adults around an aperitif dinner.
In addition, throughout the festival, you will have the opportunity to come and express your thoughts, your dreams and what represents you by participating in the creation of a giant fresco with Laure Fournier, muralist, in the Simone Veil media library.
In accordance with the wishes of the municipality, all programming is free and accessible to all.

Album book illustration workshop with Cécile Gambini, professional illustrator and author – 10h30
Tale for all audiences, Bouquet of tales – 3 p.m. – from 3 to 6 years old

Tale to the Georges Bizet room by Françoise Cadène
Friday November 22:
Storytelling evening for adults by Mathilde Delapeyre: Olea cultural and heritage tale around the olive trees, followed by an aperitif dinner – 19h
Saturday November 23:
Old book binding workshop with Léa Fontana from the bookbinding workshop champs in Nîmes, to understand this profession and test yourself – 10h30
Manga workshop carried out by Mangaka Nesrine. Explanation of the art of manga then drawing workshops to create your page like a real Mangaka! – 14h30
From Wednesday 20 to Saturday 23 November, creation of a giant participatory fresco by Laure Fournier, muralist painter.
