This is an opportunity to stock up on Christmas gifts. The Érables multipurpose room in Villemoisson-sur-Orge (Essonne) welcomes Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 November 2024, a book fair organized by the association Livraddict in partnership with the gourmet bookstore of Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil.
Sixty authors expected, many genres represented
Novels, comics, stories, detective novels, history, poetry, travel, illustration, there will be something for everyone thanks to the sixty authors expected on site.
Among the exhibitors, there will be notably Massoumeh Raoufan Iranian journalist who has taken refuge in France since 1985 who will present two works.
The first, entitled Escape from Iran Prison, was released by Balland in February 2022, recounts the author's escape while she was serving a 20-year prison sentence handed down by the mullahs' regime.
The second is a comic titled A little prince in the land of the mullahs and prefaced by Ingrid Betancourt.
“This is the story of my little brother in Iran, murdered by the mullahs’ regime. The crimes continue today,” summarizes Massoumeh Raouf.
Exhibitions on the theme of the sea
Between their visits to the different stands, visitors will be able to contemplate different exhibitions on the “mysteries of the sea”.
The opportunity to see the work of the students of the nursery and elementary classes of the Émile Bouton school group, but also the tableaux painted by the active seniors of Villemoisson and the teen club, without forgetting Annick's decorations created with old books.
Throughout the weekend, activities and workshops will be offered to visitors.
This will start on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. then from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. with card makingthe sea hut and paper poetry offered by the Ateliers de Nicouline.
A large dictation and thematic workshops
Children aged 1 to 7 will be invited to join Solène Guilhot at 4 p.m. for a musical awakening tale.
On Sunday, in addition to the Nicouline workshops, visitors, from 7 years old, will be able to test their spelling level during the great dictation by Gaël Pilorget, scheduled for 11 a.m.
In the afternoon, Arnaud Keller will offer a writing workshop (at 2 p.m.) as well as a poetry workshop (at 4 p.m.).
To eat, two food-trucks will be present on site: Pizz'Alex on Saturday and La P'tite Famille on Sunday.
The L’Exceptionnelle Abigail association will offer the sale of tea and coffee.
