Two essays to start, before the upcoming return of fiction. Absent from the publication programs since the end of last summer and the announcement of their liquidation, ActuSF editions are returning to bookstores this June. Now titled Nouvelles éditions ActuSF, they joined the Salomon-Sansonnet group at the end of October 2023, founded by Laura Salomon and Nicolas Sansonnet. Their logo will be reviewed soon.

Majority shareholder, Salomon-Sansonnet is supported by Pollen Diffusion, which has acquired a stake and ensures the distribution of the catalog, the distribution being entrusted to CED-Cedif. The founder of ActuSF Jerome Vincent is also associated with the operation and has retained his management functions.

New graphic charter for Hélios

As part of this reorganization, Nouvelles éditions ActuSF managed to retain 80% of their original catalog, including almost all of their French-speaking authors. They are now alone in charge of the “Hélios” pocket collection, launched in 2013 in collaboration with two other houses specializing in imagination, Les Moutons Électriques and Mnémos, which have since withdrawn from it. “ We are going to review the Hélios graphic charter », announces Jérôme Vincent to Weekly Books. The collection is redeployed starting in July with a series of six novels, including Pack of Karine Rennberg or noticed it The Aardtman sequence of Saul Pandelakisacquired from Goater editions.

On the large format side, around ten titles are to be published each year. “ We will publish less than before », specifies Jérôme Vincent. The founder of ActuSF is also on the editorial program since he co-signed with Ariel Kyrou one of the first two titles of new editions: Why read science fiction and fantasypublished on June 6 at the same time as another essay, All Terry Pratchett of Yannick Chazareng And Stéphanie Chaptal.

Worldwide release

Novels are to be expected from the start of the school year, including Malemort ofAurélie Hardeléand a new young adult collection which will soon be released, driven by the trilogy The book of wisdom of Rosalia Aguilar Solace. The book, the rights to which were acquired in partnership with the Tomorrowland festival, will be released worldwide in October, by Blackstone Publishing in the United States and Text Publishing in the United Kingdom and Australia, by Blanvalet Verlag (Penguin Random House Verlagsgruppe) in Germany or at Standaard Uitgeverij in the Netherlands.
