EXPOSURE – In La Villette, students from twenty French architecture schools designed pavilions to house twenty sports federations. Their creativity hits the mark while meeting the challenge of eco-responsible creations.

Together, that’s all. All the national higher education schools of architecture (Ensa) in France for all the sports federations in France. The offer was launched to schools two years ago by Didier Fusillier, then president of La Villette, the Ministry of Culture and the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF). The idea was to entrust each school of architecture with the creation of a madness, on the scale of those, dapper in red metal, which punctuate the Parc de la Villette.

From surfing by the Reunion School of Architecture, to horse riding by the Versailles School of Architecture, fencing by Malaquais or archery by Ensa Bretagne, twenty Olympic disciplines have their removable madness. Twelve parade along the Ourcq canal. The other eight stretch out facing the large hall, in the Triangle meadow where, usually, open-air cinema screenings take place. All the follies are built on a square of 11.5 m on each side.
