The book Lurais, history and legends is now available in bookstores. It is the work of the historian Jean-Claude Fillaud who explains being “came across documents that belonged to Doctor Éloi Pailler, famous historian of Mérigny”.
His work, which includes sixty pages, was built over time: “It took me ten years to finalize it, specifies Jean-Claude Fillaud. But I haven’t been a diligent writer. I dabbled in it from time to time. I was also lucky enough to have the participation of several contributors”.
This former finance specialist, now retired, has finally come to terms with it and can therefore discuss its content: “It is dedicated to Sainte-Fercinte and Saint-Barthomé, who both had a strong link with the site of the Lurais church. » Their respective rich stories can be discovered in the book that Jean-Claude Fillaud will dedicate, on Wednesday December 18, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Cousin-Perrin bookseller, in Le Blanc, where it will also be available at the sale.
