In the village, culture is not an empty word, nor a novel. A book box has just been installed on the sidewalk of the rural home. It’s called In the Domain of Murmurs.

This request was made during of a meeting of the municipal council and unanimously accepted. The donation of a chalet made it possible to significantly reduce expenses. An advisor did the interior design, the shelves and carried out the installation.

The network is growing

All are welcome (novels, thrillers, comics) except sexist or hateful works. The book cabinet allows you to give a second life to books. They must be in good condition. Did you enjoy a book? Say it with a little summary inside. An idea for action around the wardrobe? Contact a board member.

With it, the network of book cabinets is expanding: Saint-Momelin, Watten, Looberghe, Lynck, Lederzeele… The book box is a complement to the municipal library which is open Monday and Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
