The Zatypicals, a book by Claire Rio Petit (Drakkar Editions)

Public’ has already made you discover Claire Rio Petit with his book: In the head of a zebra.
And for teenagers, Claire Rio Petit wrote them a great story where children, not quite like the others, will find themselves: The Zatypicals.

The Zatypicals tells the story of 6 high school students. 6 students with HPI, ADHD, DYS…

One of their teachers and a speaker will create a workshop centered on the theme of inclusion. All 6 of them will have a project in common with this workshop where they will, each in turn, confide a little, even though it is not at all in their nature. Tell a little about their daily lives, their difficulties in class, their relationships with their teachers who do not always understand their differences and require behaviors that are difficult for them to manage, if not impossible.

This book, The Zatypicalswill be a tremendous help for all young people who are atypical, “zebras” who are diagnosed or not. And it can also be a help for parents who will recognize that their child is not alone in being a little special. But at the same time, so rich!
