While the law on shipping costs for Books came into force a little over a year ago, Amazon continues to sound the alarm about a system which, according to it, harms people living in rural areas.

This law took effect on October 7, 2023 on all e-commerce sites selling books.
Indeed, for the purchase of one or more books on a merchant site and for a total basket of less than 35 euros, the buyer must pay a minimum of 3 euros in shipping costs.
Amazon immediately fought this law, even going so far as to file an appeal before the Council of State.

Today, the online merchant finds an effective and legal solution.
