Lezoux. Eight titles in competition. For the 26 e edition of the Book elected for teens organized by Passeurs de mots, book and reading network in Livradois-Forez, eight novels and albums were selected.

This initiative aims to develop exchanges and collaborations between librarians and librarians from middle and high schools while promoting reading practices and making adolescents want to read.

A selection committee made up of librarians and librarians takes part in a “round of and comics” then chooses a selection of recently published works.

Adolescents register voluntarily and free of charge at the media library, middle school or high school which makes a selection available to them. Students borrow the works and write them down. This gives rise to a classification and an elected Book.

In order to promote adolescents' reading, events are organized throughout the year, as well as a final meeting bringing together young people who wish to do so. Thus, readings aloud are offered by actors, meetings with authors are organized, and a teenage reading committee is set up.

The selected works are available in participating CDIs and media libraries. In May 2025, young readers will nominate their favorite title.
