Le Monastier-sur-Gazeille. The book fair was held at the library. The 27 e edition of the Automnales du livre ended on Saturday October 12 with the book fair at the library and free activities for families. Like every year, book lovers were able to stroll in front of the Chat Perché bookstore stall and meet the authors and illustrators for a signing.

This time, Isabelle Simon, Mathilde Poncet, Virginie Aladjidi and Antonin Sabot led workshops in the different schools of the Community of Communes and were present at the book fair to interact with their readers. Those with a sweet tooth were also able to enjoy a crepe between two activities thanks to the Ré-Création association which ran a refreshment bar.

In the morning, Nicole Exbrayat led a visual arts workshop on the theme of image misappropriation. In the afternoon, volunteers from Friends of the Book of Lantriac made pop-up cards for the children who came in large numbers.

At 5 p.m., the Phare company played a family show which won over the audience, in the Cornélie-Falcon auditorium. Before concluding with the screening of the film Cinema Paradiso by Giuseppe Tornatore, this last day of programming gave rise to a buffet dinner where the different actors contributing to the success of the event gathered.
