The Fury to readan annual event in Wallonia and Brussels, returns from October 16 to 20. Intended for all ages and all audiences, this event offers several free activities in libraries, bookstores, associations and other partner locations across the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.

This 2024 edition will take place under the theme “speed and movement”. It is therefore an opportunity to dive into varied literary universes, where movement and action are at the heart of the stories.

In Hannut, the municipal library will focus on correspondence and epistolary novels. Participants will therefore be able to (re)discover the art of exchanging letters through different activities.

On the program:

  • Saturday October 19 (9 a.m.-1 p.m.): There will be a postal art workshop for children aged 7 and up, as well as a reading club for adults (registration required). A breakfast will also be offered, accompanied by entertainment from the Ludothèque and thematic tables.
  • Sunday October 20 (11 a.m.-1 p.m.): The theater troupe “Les Planches à Nu” will offer aperitif readings entitled “Good kisses from…”.

The event will take place at the municipal library, located rue de Landen, 43 in Hannut. For more information or to register, contact the library on 019/51.23.16 or by email at [email protected].
