The starting point for the twelfth edition of the Star Academy was launched this Saturday, October 12, 2024, with a first prime broadcast on TF1. An evening rich in emotions which allowed fans to discover a new promotion of young talents ready to conquer the stage.
Among the candidates of this new edition, the names of Maureen, Maïa, Noah, Thomas, Franck and Marguerite stood out. But one artist in particular has captured all the attention. It is about Paul.
Paul Miles: a camera regular
Originally from Brittany, the 23-year-old young man literally won over the audience with his sensitive interpretation of the famous song Your Song d’Elton John.
Dressed in a two-tone jacket which reflected his originality and his touch of eccentricity, Paul marked the launch of the talent show with a performance that caused a sensation.
It must be said that his ease in front of the cameras has not gone unnoticed. And this is easily explained. Before setting foot on the stage of the Star Academy, Paul already had television experience under his belt.
In 2019, he had participated in the cooking show Top Chef objective on M6. At the time, he had indeed tried to join the team of Philippe Etchebest.
This Sunday, October 13, 2024, Clément Garin also shared a surprising photo of the young man in the company of the famous chef. A photo which quickly aroused the curiosity of Internet users, in particular because of a particular detail: the name written on the candidate’s blouse, Damien Fusté.
After Objectif Top Chef, place at the Star Academy
After a foray into the world of gastronomy, Damien, his real name, chose to “greet the kitchen to leave for a world in which [il] maybe really [lui-même]“.
That’s when he took stage name Paul Milesunder which fans discover it today at the Star Academy.
“It’s been 3 years since, after a 180° turn, I was able to begin the path and career of my dreams, with this desire, this passion to love and give love.“, he wrote on Instagram. It remains to be seen whether Paul will live up to Pierre Garnier, the big winner of the previous season!
