Self-published in May 2023, Because after all, you are my Wonderwall exceeded 1,000 sales in less than a year. “It’s a real Source of pride, I wouldn’t have dared to believe it when it came out,” rejoices Fany Simon.
The book tells the love story of a young teacher who moves to Saint-Malo, and takes the reader from laughter to tears.
A success on social networks
Fany Simon embarked on writing her first novel after following the writing workshops of Laurence Peyrin, novelist published by Calmann-Levy.
His book generated a lot of enthusiasm on social networks. Galvanized by this feedback, the Cancale author returned to work to publish And I think of you quietly. A novel embodied by a strong new heroine, this time centered on a family who obviously lives in Saint-Malo. The book got off to a good start with 250 sales in a few weeks.
A new project in progress
Fany Simon’s new project? A book which will take place during the Second World War, in the bay of Mont Saint Michel. “Now all I need is a publisher,” smiles the writer.
