Gold prices increase again near their peak

Converted according to the exchange rate indicated by the bank, the world price of gold is equivalent to 106.6 million VND/Tael.

After the recent adjustment, the world prices of gold have resumed momentum and are only about 130 USD/OCE of the historic peak.

Meanwhile, gold prices on the domestic market have increased quickly in recent days.

This morning, the sale price of SJC gold ingots with the main gold companies increased by 3.5 million VND/Tael, bringing the sale price of gold to 123.3 million VND/Tael and the purchase price at 121.3 million VND/TAEL. This price is only about 670,000 VND/Tael at the peak.

However, at the end of the day, the price of gold had decreased by 1.1 million VND/Tael, bringing the sale price of SJC gold ingots at SJC Company at 122.2 million VND/TAEL and the purchase price at 120.2 million VND/TAEL.

The sale price of SJC gold rings at the end of the day is 118 million VND/TAEL, the purchase price is 115.5 million VND/TAEL.

The difference between purchase and sale prices is 2 million VND/Tael for SJC gold ingots and 2.5 million VND/Tael for gold rings.

At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the sale price of 9999 gold rings at the end of the day was 120.5 million VND/Tael, the purchase price was 117.5 million VND/Tael.

The Mi Hong Golden Store said this afternoon that the SJC gold bars’ sale price was 121.8 million VND/Tael, compared to 120.2 million VND/Tael for purchase.

The price of national gold is higher than 15.6 million VND/Tael at the world price

Compared to the world price of converted gold, the price of SJC gold ingots is 15.6 million VND/Tael at the world price of gold.

According to analyzes, global gold prices have again increased due to the recent strong depreciation of the US dollar.

Investors also await the results of the next monetary policy meeting of the American Federal Reserve (Fed). The market predicts that the Fed will maintain unchanged interest rates during this political meeting.

The central exchange rate is currently announced by the State Bank at 24,938 VND/USD, down 6 VND compared to before. With an amplitude of 5 %, the USD exchange rate that commercial banks are authorized to negotiate is 23,691 to 26,185 VND/USD.

Today, some large banks have posted prices in USD between 25,760 and 26,150 VND (purchase – sale). This price is around 35 VND/USD lower than the ceiling price.
