A teacher was hospitalized Monday after a fire in a primary school building in Schiers (GR). The students had to be evacuated and the courses were canceled.
The fire took on the 2nd floor in a tank containing toys and books, the Grison police said on Tuesday. An investigation is underway to establish the causes of the fire.

At first, a teacher felt the smell of smoke coming out of an empty room, specifies a spokesperson for the Grison police. She went to check before bringing the concierge and an employee of the town to extinguish the flames. The three people were finally supported by the firefighters, then taken care of by rescuers who decided to hospitalize the teacher for a further control.
