London | Taloned with questions on the fourth of his counter-examination, the alleged victim of the five ex-homes of the 2018 Canada Junior Team had to defend himself from having “invented a story” to better convince the members of the jury.

“I tell my , my story,” launched the woman in a firm tone, the air annoyed.

The latter is questioned since morning by Me Megan Savard, who represents Carter Hart, one of the five accused. In a tense exchange, the defense lawyer pressed her questions, namely under what circumstances she had come to cry in the hotel room.

Invent a story

The alleged victim was then accused by the defense lawyer “to invent a story” about the exchanged.

“I did not know how to communicate every detail precisely, I was just trying to get everything out,” said the young woman.

The defense lawyer then pointed out to her that she was completing a bachelor’s degree at university, adding that she should have had a certain ease of expressing himself.

The answer did not seem to satisfy Me Savard, who reproached him for “wanting to make the jury accept that it is more likely that a crime has been committed here”.

Horror night
