Under a radiant sun, the U13 eleven EJAs walked the lawns of the racetrack on Sunday with the ambition to have a good day as part of the U13 Pitch festival. With two matches in the morning and three in the afternoon, as well as technical challenges (ball driving and juggling), the D3 champions were keen to appear well in front of the best teams in the department. The first match against North Lomagne 1 is lost 1-0 following a counterattack, concluded by a specific ball at the ground. The second match against Sud Gascogne 1 provides more control of the ball. Good quality pressing is paying and Paco concludes a magnificent action that rewards the team. The third match against Isle-Jourdain 2 does not allow the two teams to deciderate, but gives confidence to the players. The fourth match may be a bit hard because the AGS 1 is much physically more imposing and marks twice. But the passenger game puts the opponents in difficulty, and on a trivial free kick in their camp, SOA launches a magnificent strike which ends up in the middle of the opposing skylight. Certainly the goal of the tournament… The last match against Auch Football 2 is like the day with beautiful constructions and a quality collective game. But during meetings with a high level, the fault does not forgive: the young people of the EJA collect two goals following inattention errors, before leaving and reducing the brand. Despite their offensive actions, the Astaracais cannot materialize. The defeat is anecdotal, but the state of mind was incredible.
The group ranks 12th on the 14 teams in this tournament. The commitment and omnipresence of players in duels were an example.
