Thursday, May 1, was an opportunity for the U9 of the star Castraise to test their skills to make (young and old) bridges. Two teams of this club were indeed engaged in the Albi-Marssac TF tournament. The Castres did much better than participating since team I won in the “Champions League” tournament by compiling 6 victories, 2 draws, 25 goals scored and only 3 collected in 8 games. Team II is not to be outdone since it finished first in its pool and then won the “Europa League” tournament with 8 victories and 2 losses. The academy was on the side of Porte-sur-Garonne where the competition was tough. Faced with major regional clubs such as Toulouse football Club, US Colomiers, FC Carcassonne, UJS Toulouse, Montauban, or Balma, the young Castres had to settle for 13th place. The U9 will have the opportunity to shine again this Saturday. The Castraise star is indeed organizing its first 8 football tournament with the presence of 16 teams on the facilities of Borde Basse (10:30 a.m.-7 p.m.).
