Tabaski Ngom, former specific accounting agent (ACP) to the Energy Sector Regulatory Commission (CRSE), will be heard this Monday, May 5, 2025 by the judicial judicial . This hearing at the bottom marks a crucial stage in an alleged diversion case of public funds estimated at more than 734 million FCFA.

Charged since January 23 for criminal association, money laundering, embezzlement of public funds, fraudulent intrusion into a computer system and hinders its operation, Tabaski Ngom will have to explain the nature and destination of the sums between August and December 2024.

During the preliminary investigation, she argued that she lent some of these funds to the deputy mayor of Louga, Moustapha Diop, to finance her electoral , reports Seneweb visited by Senego. A revelation that prompted the investigating judge to request the lifting of the elected official’s parliamentary immunity to the Minister of Justice, Ousmane Diagne. The latter seized the National Assembly, which must rule on the request.

Two other people are also implicated. Momath Bâ, former director of the Development and Promotion Agency for Industrial Sites (APROSI), was charged and placed under judicial supervision after having recorded 90 million FCFA. As for Mor Guèye, director of Sen Setal and Webcom Sen companies, he is suspected of a diversion of more than 300 million FCFA. He was charged and placed under a deposit warrant.
