€ 2,300,000! An exceptional mobilization for the 21st edition of the campaign A jonquille against cancer of the Curie Institute

With € 2,300,000 collected thanks to the generosity of all, and 1.5 million kilometers traveled throughout France thanks to the 20,539 in the connected jonquille race, the 2025 edition broke records. The Curie Institute expresses its deep gratitude to all those who responded to the call for solidarity: donors, volunteers, partners, companies, associations, communities, sponsors and godmothers. Thanks to the commitment and mobilization of all, researchers and can explore innovative research avenues to develop new treatments and thus improve the lives of patients.

A jaw against cancer is the alliance of generosity and the excellence of research at the Institut Curie. Each donation, each action, nourishes hope and allows the institute to continue its pioneering mission to defeat cancer, in all its forms, and build a future without incurable cancers. From March 11 to 23, 2025, the A jaw against cancer highlighted patients who fight rare cancers, as well as experts who mobilize to research and care.

The 2025 campaign has benefited from an mobilization throughout France: donations by SMS, field actions, online donations, solidarity purchases, Jonquille race … This diversity of actions, carried by the generosity of the public, companies, associations, sponsors, godmothers, communities and countless volunteers, enabled the Curie Institute to beat a new record of Dons.

The ride of the jonquille against cancer once again aroused an exceptional craze throughout France! This year, 20 539 participants Online have put on their sneakers to participate in this connected challenge.

From March 11 to 21, they thus have traveled 1.5 million kilometerstransforming each step into an act of solidarity to advance research against cancers. It’s more than 500,000 km traveled more than 2024!

Allianz France, A faithful partner of the Jonquille race, renewed its commitment by transferring € 1* for each kilometer traveled by the participants. In addition, thanks to the mobilization of 98 companieswhich abounded the kilometers of their employees, a significant amount has been collected, contributing essentially to the success of this sporting and united event.

For this 21st edition, two big names in the pastry, Christophe Adam and Jessica Préalpato, joined Héloïse Courvoisier and Claudia Tagbo respectively to create exclusive pastries, sold for the benefit of research. These gourmet collaborations have made it possible to educate an even wider audience and collect funds in an original way.
