An overwhelming TV movie. This Wednesday, May 7, at 9:10 p.m. on France 2, will be broadcast resistant, on the sidelines of the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. Viewers will follow the story of a small French village in 1944, shortly before the end of the Second World War, in which a young woman, touched by sudden deafness, becomes a symbol of hope.
This young woman is Solange, a teenager confronted with the tumults of war and her handicap, interpreted by Jade Foucart, a deaf actress of 25 years. Within the feature film, the hearing impaired adolescent, rejected by her school because of her deafness, Help Mother Madeleine, camped by Line Renaud, to protect Jewish children and maquisards, resistance fighters, hiding them in her convent.
