Since the establishment of its first European operations center in the United Kingdom in 1994, Develon has continued to extend its presence on the European market. The manufacturer previously operated a distribution center for spare parts in Germany, which had enabled it to considerably improve its delivery times and its logistical efficiency. With a storage area of 24,000 m² and a stock of 47,000 units, this new Belgian distribution center aims to bring customer services closer and allows Develon to respond more effectively to various and changing demands from the European construction machinery market.
The Belgian site will be operated in partnership with Fiege, a major logistics provider that has long known the Develon range. The new spare parts distribution center has the objective of offering an “exceptional” quality of service and consolidating the loyalty of European customers. The infrastructure is energetically economical and low carbon emissions.
