Four people aged 18 to 38 were arrested this Sunday, May 4 following the fatal brawl on the Le Cristal nightclub in Albi.
Four people who participated in the deadly brawl on the night of May 3 to 4 in front of the Le Cristal disco were arrested and placed in police custody, the Albi prosecutor, Stéphanie Bazazart said on Sunday evening.

“The police custody are aged 18 to 38,” said the same source. The victim’s body, a man whose identity was not made public, had been found at the level of an old railway, a few dozen meters from this nightclub located at the entrance to Albi.
-The prosecution confirms that the facts occurred after an evening spent within the night establishment. “On May 4, 2025, around 3:30 am, the emergency services were notified of the presence of a man with bleeding wounds near the Castres road. His death was found at 4:15 am by the doctor”.
According to the same source, the victim presents at least two stabbing wounds. An autopsy will be carried out in the coming days. Earlier in the day, a police source said that the man had received a machete.

The investigations are carried out by the Albi co-saisine police station with the division of organized crime of the DIPJ of Toulouse. With regard to the criminal qualification selected, “voluntary homicide”, the Toulouse prosecutor’s office, a criminal center, will be seized this Monday, May 5, 2025.
