It was his neighbors who gave the alert, a little before 3 p.m., seeing smoke escape by the balcony. A man of around 40 years old lost his life in the fire of his apartment located in Séez, in Savoy.
About twenty firefighters went to the scene and extracted the victim from his accommodation “in a state of apparent death“. The death of the forties was then pronounced by the doctor of the SMUR.
